Device Card Overview


The Device Card is a key feature in the left panel of your dashboard, providing essential details about each of your devices at a glance. Below, you’ll find an explanation of the different components and functions of the device card.

Location of the Device Card

  • The Device Card is situated on the left-hand side panel of the dashboard.
  • Devices are organized by kitchen, allowing you to quickly locate and manage them.

Details Included in the Device Card

Each device card provides a comprehensive overview of the device’s status and settings, including:

  1. Device Type: The type of device (e.g., sensor, thermostat, camera) is displayed, helping you identify the role of each device within your setup.
  2. Device Status: This shows the current status of the device (e.g., online, offline, active). It’s a quick way to see if everything is functioning as expected.
  3. Battery Status: If applicable, the device card will show the battery level, allowing you to monitor power levels and recharge or replace batteries as needed.
  4. Internet Status: Displays the connectivity status of the device, indicating whether it is successfully connected to the network.
  5. Device Name: Each device card will show the name you’ve assigned to the device, making it easy to identify in the list.
  6. Device Serial Number: The unique serial number of the device is included for easy reference, which can be useful for troubleshooting or support.
  7. Device Location: Shows where the device is physically located, helping you verify its placement within your kitchen or home.
  8. Monitored Rooms: Lists all the rooms that this device monitors, giving you a clear picture of the scope of its coverage.
  9. Room Temperatures: Displays the current temperature readings for each room being monitored by the device, providing you with real-time environmental data.

Alarm Indicators

  • Visual Alerts: If a device encounters an issue and triggers an alarm, the Device Card will turn red.
    • This color change is designed for quick identification and faster reaction times, ensuring you can address any problems promptly.

Interactive Functionality

  • Click to Access Monitoring Dashboard: Clicking on a red alarm card (or any device card) will take you directly to the Monitoring Dashboard of that specific device.
    • This dashboard provides more detailed information and control options, allowing you to investigate issues or adjust settings immediately.
